Micro Review: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

Don't let the pulpy title fool you, this is not a fun romp through a multiverse. I think we're entering the phase where the MCU begins imploding under the weight of its own lore and continuity. Not even Sam Raimi's iconically stylish and energetic direction can save Multiverse of Madness from feeling like anything more than a jumble of ideas hastily pasted together.

If you want a movie that explores and has fun with the idea of multiverses, stick with Everything Everywhere All at Once.
